Writer and trainer
Alan Clews has run Clarity writing courses for NatWest, The Finance and Leasing Association and other clients. He’s done ghostwriting for high-profile financial figures. And he regularly conducts one-to-one writing sessions with senior business executives.
For more than 10 years, Alan was a copywriter in leading London agencies, creating press and television campaigns for Ford, Shell, Unilever, American Express and other major companies.
Alan has written award-winning business and training films for clients such as BP, NSPCC, The Metropolitan Police, The Royal Bank of Scotland and Fujitsu. He has also written scripts for well-known television programmes such as "Lovejoy", "Love Hurts", "Shine on Harvey Moon", "The Bill" and "Peak Practice". He is developing a film script which has been funded by The Film Council and Scottish Screen. He has published two novels.
