Accenture.
We have been working with three of Accenture's leading thinkers and human performance practitioners to write an important book due to be published by Kogan Page in November 2007. The book is called The Talent Powered Organization, by Peter Cheese, Elizabeth Craig and Robert J. Thomas. It deals with talent management in unprecedented depth, explaining why this is the No 1 strategic issue for global business today and setting out practical measures for discovering, developing and deploying talent. The authors are responsible for almost all the ideas and case studies in the book, while Clarity has played a vital role at various stages: putting together a proposal and finding publishers; drafting sections; editing and shaping the content; and managing the process from proposal through to publication.
Association of British Insurers.
Having conducted training courses with the entire ABI staff during 2006 and early 2007, and produced a house style guide, we are now embarking on courses for new arrivals and refresher sessions for older hands. Stephen Haddrill, ABI Director General, has paid generous tribute to Clarity's work in the testimonial quoted on the home page.
CriticalEYE.
This is a unique and immensely successful membership organisation that
is half networking outfit, half executive support system. Financed entirely
by membership fees, it offers its members the ability to compare notes
with executives in many different fields; it organises breakfast seminars,
discussions groups and social events; and it publishes an award-winning
journal. Clarity is an enthusiastic member and supporter of CriticalEYE,
writing up the seminars and discussion groups and providing editing support
as required.
Power PlateŽ.
This is the revolutionary new fitness machine that provides an all-body workout in the time it takes to boil an egg (or something like that). Madonna has one, as do other owners of famous bodies. Clarity is currently helping Power PlateŽ to write its manuals and user guides.
FFP.
This is a small but rapidly growing company specialising in air-conditioning and facilities management for large businesses, particularly those with computer rooms, or data centres - where temperature control is all-important. Clarity has been helping FFP to find the right words for its pitches, and for its website copy.
Women's Transportation Seminar.
Clarity has just started working with this excellent organisation, substantially funded by Transport for London, which aims to promote the role of women in transport. We can explain, for instance, why being a London cabbie is the ideal job for a woman.
As always, Clarity continues to work with long-standing clients like Cadbury Schweppes, Royal Bank of Scotland and Wood Mackenzie.
